Born and raised near Washington, D.C., Jesse has lived in Florida for the past 12 years. He has been a youth pastor, grassroots organizer, computer programmer and information technology director. He received his degree in computer science at UCF. After several years leading a youth ministry and international missions outreach program at his church, he transitioned to work as a systems administrator for his brother's IT company. He is currently working as the director of IT for one of the largest independent medical practices in Orlando.
Jesse is best known as president of Restore Justice, a group he formed to educate voters about the records of judicial candidates up for merit-retention votes. He is largely credited with bringing the merit retention issue to the forefront in a way it has not been before.
Jesse is married to Rebekah, and they reside in Winter Park with their three boys, Samuel, Isaac and Josiah.
